Top NFT Collections and Games this Week – June 25

top play-to-earn games

Big news from Gods Unchained this week, Azuki announces a new project, and Milady Maker is back in the top 10! Read on for more news from the world of NFTs and web3 games!

Our top headline this week comes from one of the first web3, TCG games. Gods Unchained partners with Epic Games to be included in their launcher, potentially exposing GU to millions of players!

We also have (what is likely to be just the first) NPCs controlled by a conversational AI in Sky City. This has so much potential to raise the quality of NPC interactions and help create living, breathing worlds. I’m excited to see where this avenue of AI usage takes us!

Other interesting blockchain developments are coming from Open Campus, who are now minting their Genesis NFTs which will be a part of their ongoing push to build a market of educational games minted as NFTs!

If you’re in the mood to own some land, raffle registration for the latest land sale in The Sandbox is currently open. We also have special adventures arriving soon for MoDragons, and a game called HV-MTL Forge from the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

If you need some new gameplay, we have an open alpha for Synergy of Serra, Beta 2 Phase 2 of Phantom Galaxies, and Season 3 Alpha for My Neighbor Alice!

Read on for a look at the most active web3 games and NFT projects for the week. And be sure to keep an eye on our website and Twitter feed for the latest developments in the web3 gaming space!

Hippo Dash remains strong this week, fighting with Farmer’s World and Splinterlands for that second place spot.

Defi Kingdoms continues to grow as well. Which is a bit surprising as it requires purchasing JEWEL tokens to get started and is on the DFK sidechain, two barriers to entry that I would expect to put players off. But I guess the potential play and earn options are enough to attract a steady flow of new players!

Another mobile, play to earn contender joins our charts this week. Carrom Blitz. Though I’m not sure what caused such a surge in popularity. We’ll investigate further it it’s still on the charts next week.

The Azuki and BEANZ Official NFT collections are riding high this week on the back of an announcement about a new collection from Azuki. Holders of Azuki and BEANZ NFTs receive pre-sale access to this collection, known as Elementals, slated to launch this week on June 27th. And though the floor price for the BEANZ NFTs hasn’t really changed much, the trading volume has shot through the roof. With 61% of the BEANZ holders only owning one NFT, it looks like the rush is on to earn access to the Elementals pre-sale!

And Milday Maker is back. Somewhat surprising (IMO) considering the extremely low quality production of the artwork, website, and posts on social media. But I guess they have a following!
